Welcome! Mountain Journeys, A 501(c)3 Nonprofit Organization is a federally chartered public charity founded in 2004 with a mission to restore hope to disadvantaged youth and adults. We have proudly served our communities through outdoor education, vocational training, legal aid and public health advocacy. We at MJ support the notion that freedom and innovation will help us overcome whatever obstacles we face as a community and as a nation. As a federally chartered program, we have proudly served the interests of the federal government and the American people for more than seven years. We have recently expanded our program to serve American interests overseas. We are building charitable social networks in the Middle East, Asia and South America that will promote innovation, education and reinvestment in our resilient American workforce. We are working to help creative minds from all free nations grow their ideas and incubate solutions that can improve the lives of entire populations of disabled and disadvantaged citizens. In the process, we will be targeting waste, inefficacy and public health threats and outlining their respective remedies in order to build stronger, healthier, and more responsible communities both at home and overseas. |

Mountain Journeys has raised funds for its programs through private donations of property, money and by way of revenues from unrelated business income. The organization is exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(c)3 of the internal revenue code. All contributions to our organization are tax deductible under section 170 of the code. We are also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the code. Our agents continually strive to minimize operational expenses in order to maximize our program budgets. We at Mountain Journeys believe it is important that the public understand that although we uphold a fiduciary duty of care, and while we wholeheartedly believe we serve a higher purpose as public service NGO, we are not empowered with a higher omniscience about global market activities, economic shifts, and operational efficacy than any other business entity. We are just as susceptible if not more so to economic downturns and financial crises. Our agents make it thier top priority to obviate conflicts of interest and meet all compliance requirements pursuant to our charter. Please note, while the revenues we generate from and the agreements we form with external fundraising sources are meritoriously advertised and processed, a modest percentage of those revenues goes to offset our operational expenses. For IRS Verfication of our legitimacy, please visit the IRS Website at http://apps.irs.gov/app/pub78 and type in the keywords "mountain journeys". Be sure to chose the search option "all the words" to expedite the verification. Please note Mountain Journeys withdrew its charitable registration in CO and NJ due to inactivity in those jurisdictions and no longer solicits CO or NJ residents at this time. Thank you again for your generous support.
