The Program...

 Program Overview

Mountain Journeys® has worked hard to create a program that accommodates participants of various skill levels, ages, and scholastic schedules.  We firmly believe that education is a child's primary concern, and participants are encouraged to keep up with their schoolwork during the course of the program.  Clinic sessions are scheduled as a series of instructional weekends that are scheduled about 1-2 months in advance.  Sponsorees will be transported by van or charter bus from designated meeting points in the tri-state area. Since skiing and snowboarding have fairly steep learning curves, we recommend a minimum of 2 weekends or 4 individual days to ensure each camper receives proper training.  Beginner skiers and snowboarders will need a good amount of mileage to form a solid foundation on which they can build upon in future seasons. Successive on-hill days will give riders optimal results.

Clinic Times and Amenities

Clinics are full day beginning at 9:30am and ending at 3:30pm with a break for lunch included.  Each full day of riding includes lift tickets, equipment rental (skis/board, boots, bindings), and individualized instruction.  Transportation to and from the resort will be arranged on a case to case basis depending on liability constraints, and lunches are provided. Participants with special dietary requirements should make us aware of thier restricitons. All participants will receive a personalized DVD of their experience to share with their friends and families.

All clinic dates are weather dependent of course, and in the event that weather is inclement, make up weekends will be available at a later time.
